Referee Terms of Registration & Agreement

By submitting this Expression of Interest to officiate at the 2026 NT Championships, you agree to the following terms:

1. Membership and Accreditation

• You must hold a current, unpaid Non Playing Membership with Volleyball Northern Territory (or your respective State Association) to ensure you are covered by official insurance while officiating.

• You confirm that your stated referee accreditation level is accurate and current.

2. Code of Conduct and Integrity

• You agree to act in a professional and impartial manner at all times.

  • National Integrity Framework: Volleyball NT enforces Volleyball Australia’s Integrity Policies (including Member Protection, Child Safeguarding, and Anti-Doping). Breaches of these policies are taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action. Review VA Integrity Policies here.

3. Availability and Rostering

• Submitting this EOI does not guarantee a rostered position. The Tournament Delegate will finalize the referee roster based on accreditation levels, availability, and tournament needs.

• If rostered, you agree to arrive at your assigned court at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled match start time.

4. Remuneration and Honorariums

• Referees will be compensated via an honorarium based on their accreditation level and the number of matches officiated.

• Payment will be processed post-event to your nominated bank account. To receive payment, you must complete the required match sign-off sheets during the tournament.
