Player Expression of Interest (EOI) - Trials

Volleyball NT is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from athletes wishing to trial for selection in Northern Territory teams for the AYBVC 2027, to be held in Coolangatta.

Key Championship Dates

• Monday, 15 March 2027
• Tuesday, 16 March 2027 
• Wednesday, 17 March 2027 
• Thursday, 18 March 2027

Competition Venues

• Coolangatta Beach, QLD

Eligible Age Groups – AYVC 2027

• Under 14 - Born 2014 or later

• Under 15 - Born 2013

• Under 16 - Born 2012

• Under 17 - Born 2011

• Under 18 - Born 2010

Registration Requirement

Participants must be a current registered member of Volleyball NT. Membership can be completed through the relevant association or clubs website.

Trial and Travel Information

• AYBVC Trial Dates and Venues will be confirmed with the regitrants at a date closer to the closing date of EOI.
• NT team travel dates will be finalised and communicated at a later stage.

Commitment & Costs

• Estimated Cost: Approximately $3,500 (covering competition and travel) plus the cost of the uniform (Final Costs will be shared after selection).

• Training: Selected athletes must commit to weekly training sessions scheduled by coaches to prepare for the championships.

• Travel: Team travel dates are as follows:

  • Departure from NT on 13 March

  • Returing to NT on 19 March

Purpose of This EOI

This form will help Volleyball NT to:

• Confirm athlete eligibility and correct age group

• Estimate trial numbers

• Plan trial locations and scheduling

• Share important updates regarding trials and selection
