Volleyball NT are excited to welcome applications for coaching and team manager roles for our NT state teams at the upcoming Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships in Coolangatta, Queensland from 24 to 27 March 2025. 

Please note these are volunteer roles. Travel trip costs for successful coaches/managers will be funded by Volleyball NT.

We welcome applications from adults across the Northern Territory and will be flexible in what your involvement looks like. However, you must have the ability to travel and commit to the tournament. 

Coach requirements

• Must hold a current Level 1 VA Coaching Accreditation
• Must hold, or be willing to work with Volleyball NT, to obtain a Level 2 VA Coaching Accreditation before March 2025
• Must be a registered member of Volleyball NT
• Must hold a current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card) – If you do not have a card, Volleyball NT can support with a volunteer application form which enables a reduced fee
• Coaches must be a minimum of 18 years old at the time of the competition

Team manager requirements

• Must be a registered member of Volleyball NT
• Must hold a current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card) – If you do not have a card, Volleyball NT can support with a volunteer application form which enables a reduced fee
• Team managers must be a minimum of 18 years old at the time of the competition

Character and professional reference checks are an important step in our recruitment and screening process for volunteers.

Please provide the name and contact details for at least two people who can comment on your character and ability to work with children. Ideally the references you provide will need to know you for at least 12 months' minimum.

One reference must be your most recent employer (if possible). References cannot be related to you.
